African Overland Journey 2006/7

Map of Africa Overland Journey 2006-7

The above map shows my travels through Africa in 2006 and 2007. The map shows three separate journeys: a 26.5 week trip from London to Cape Town with Dragoman, a month solo backpacking in South Africa, and then a 3 week trip from Cape Town to Victoria Falls with Kumuka.

I had decided to take a break from photography following the death of my favourite Olympus OM2 body, so only took a little point and shoot Sony fixed-lens digital camera with me. In retrospect it was a source of great regret that I didn't have a 'professional' SLR camera with me, and many saleable shots were thus missed.

You can see the small images that I did get on one of my other websites: MapAbility.com Africa Photos External link opens a new Browser window.
