London to Sydney Overland Expedition - 2012

The above map, made by me, shows the completed route of my 'London to Sydney' Europe - Asia - Oceania Overland Expedition in 2012. The countries visited were England, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, India, Nepal, China, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia.

I had to overfly Pakistan, as they were not issuing visas at the time, and Tibet, as entry permits were being refused to Brits and Austrians. I therefore got to see much more of northern and central China: every cloud has its silver lining !

Many stock travel photographs were taken on this epic journey, and the cream of them will eventually appear on this website. If you need any particular imagery, please contact me.
