2011 Dec	New article about the mythic Ark of the Covenant that many people believe to be kept in a small chapel in Aksum, Ethiopia.
2011 Nov	Quite a few new items this time. The Photo of the Month section has many new pages. There are also some new Tips, including how to photograph from a hot-air ballon, a camel, and an elephant. New photos have been added from the USA, Canada, Angola, Congo, DR Congo, and Gabon.
2011 May	New View CSV page that explains how to view the Photographer's World Database of Countries, States, and Cities CSV files in a simple way, so that you can copy and paste the information to your own photo keywording program.
2011 Apr	New Tutorial that explains how to find the real time that your photo was taken, no matter where in the world you happened to be. Also, the PhotoShop Image Retouching Workflow Tutorial has been updated with new tips and techniques.
2011 Feb	New Photo Of The Month pages added for November, December, and January 2011.
2010 Nov	New Photo Of The Month pages added for July, August, September, and October 2010.
2010 Oct	Added some tasters of my time spent learning to sail tallships on a 3-masted square rigger out of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The main images will be going on line shortly, but in the meantime, check the Picton Castle page.
2010 Sep	Many new facilities added to the website. Special thanks are due for the helpful suggestions of fellow-photographer Chris Blade - do visit his brilliant website. GnomePlanet now has Google mapping of all images that have recorded geo-reference positions. You can also buy prints of the images online, pay via credit card and have them delivered to your front door, thanks to the nice people at the PhotoBox image print facility.
2010 Aug	Developed mainly in a hotel room in Quito, Ecuador, the GnomePlanet website finally goes live on the internet. I even remembered to include a visitor-counter from day one this time.
